Prof. Naser Tavajohi is associate professor at the Chemistry Department at Umeå University.  

Prof. Tavajohi is an expert in membrane development and, focusing on membranes for gas separation, liquid separation and energy sector. He has experience in collaboration with industry and owns several patents.  He is open to collaboration within the field of membrane science and engineering, from lab scale to commercial scale.

His research has been recognized internationally by very impressive publication & citation records (50< papers, one edited book and several chapters in the books) as well he has received several awards such as Young Talented Researcher prize of Umeå University’s Faculty of Science and Technology in 2021
